the 365 Journey
Outline Week 47
Romans 2:24
For, as it is written, “The name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.” (Ezekiel 36:23)
Christians seem to be some of the most scrutinized individuals on the planet. Once you declare your allegiance to Christ the eyes of the lost world are watching you. The validity and genuineness of your claim is constantly in question. It seems they are waiting for you to fall or fail. Many do. Don't be one of of them.

It is only by the presence and in the power of His Holy Spirit that we can live a life that glorifies our Lord. They are watching, so strive to point them to Jesus by living a gospel centered life.
Our text speaks of the danger of dishonoring God among non-believers. God's name being blasphemed was owing to the hypocritical behavior of the Jews. Reflect on how this happened so that we don't follow suit.

The Purpose among Non-believers
among the Gentiles
Rom 2:17-20 But if you call yourself a Jew and rely on the law and boast in God 18 and know his will and approve what is excellent, because you are instructed from the law; 19 and if you are sure that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, 20 an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of children, having in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth—
