Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Christians are called and commissioned to proclaim the gospel to all people, but often we skirt our responsibility. We cannot relegate this task to others, when it is ours to carry-out.
Our text encourages us not to rely on our own power to be His witnesses, but that given us by the Holy Spirit. We have been emboldened to proclaim the gospel, now we must do it.
