Outline Week 34
Jeremiah 33:3
Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
God's Request Call to me
This is the great invitation to come before the Lord. He has opened His throne room to your trials and trouble. He is ready to receive your request. He is always accessible and available to hear your plea. Don't hesitate to call on Him.
God's Response I will answer you
This is God's great promise. He always responds to every request. Your prayer will be answered. There are no unanswered prayers. To not answer is to make God a liar. If He says he will answer, then He will. It doesn't mean that the answer will be immediate or the one that you were anticipating, but He will answer. He always does.
God's Revelation and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
With the answer inevitable will be insight into your inquiry. God will help you, primarily through His Word, to discern the details of the direction that you need to go. He will, in His time, reveal to you the truths in Scripture that will help you to move forward in your faith (Ps 119:105). He doesn't leave us in the dark, but discloses what we need to know to find direction.
The veil of the mystery of the promised Messiah, which was hidden for thousands of years, was finally made manifest in the birth of the babe in Bethlehem (Eph 3:1-10). The prophecy's, promises and prayers for a Savior were answered in Jesus. They did not go unanswered, God answered them in the revelation of our Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ (Rom 16:25-27).
