Numbers 6:22-27
22 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 23 "Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, Thus you shall bless the people of Israel: you shall say to them, 24 The LORD bless you and keep you; 25 the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; 26 the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. 27 "So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them
To comprehend being “God Blessed” you must understand
The Community of God’s Blessing you shall bless the people of Israel v 27 I will bless them
The Components of God’s Blessing
The Response of The Lord toward His People
· Faithfulness of God Bless you
· Favor from God make his face to shine on you
· Fellowship with God lift up his countenance upon you
The Results for His people
· You are Secure in God’s Preservation keep you
· You are Sure in God’s Pardon be gracious to you
· You are Settled God’s Peace give you peace
The Cause for God’s Blessing they (Arron and his sons) shall put my name upon you
